Children & Maternity
Babies and Children:
As a mother I understand that babies and children don’t stick to a timetable, so we just go with the flow. We are very flexible and we can work around you and your baby to help you get the best shots. I suggest plain clothing for the photo shoot. Your photo shoot can take place either on location or in your home in Sacramento. When we arrive we will decide which space is best to use. We try using natural lighting, so access to a window is useful. We will bring our own props and equipment. As we set up, we can discuss ideas on how you like your children photographed. We come armed with a variety of ideas; however we tend to go with how they are reacting. Shoots usually last 2 hours.
Maternity:
We believe the best time to photo shoot is from 34 weeks onwards. Your photo shoot will take place either at your home or on location in Sacramento.
We like to use natural lighting if possible and will find a suitable window/room location to set up in your home.
As well as discussing ideas together on the phone, we will chat about your thoughts on the day of the shoot. You’ll find the whole shoot set up to be very relaxed and we have plenty of ideas to tailor your shoot especially for you. Our sessions have no time limits. We will take as much time as we need to get your images. We only take one client per day so that we give each and every client our full attention and our excellent service.
For pregnancy portraits this may be the first time you have posed nude or semi nude. We suggest wearing loose clothing prior to the shoot and relax in a robe. We always suggest that you avoid tight clothing on the day of the shoot. We offer a range of fabrics to drape and flatter your shape. Hair and make-up is your personal preference on the day.
